This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Thanks for the comments Nafe. I had a good look through your gallery today...you have some great renders in there! Your skies and lighting are spot on. The atmo and snow material in "Dawn of a New Day" are fantastic...Great work!
Thanks for the comment on my Terragen piece! For detailed terrains I always use a 4097 and lots of surface layers. Another good trick that not too many people take advantage of is to use the Unsharpen (by John Mclusky) effect found in Camera Settings/Effects/Photo Effects. It's the first one in the list. Also, use the "Extra Blended Detail" option in the Render Settings, but don't use the "Ultra" anti-aliasing option...it makes renders really long and you don't need it when you use the Unsharpen effect. Cheers! Pete
I tend to use 2049 terrains myself because my laptop isn't that fast. I'll have a tinker with those settings and 4097 terrains and see what I can come up with, if my laptop doesn't crash that is lol. Cheers for the tips
